My East Coast Experience and Immigrant Services Association of Nova Scotia (ISANS) have signed a strategic partnership designed to enhance and expand the services and opportunities available to newcomers, immigrants, and international students.

This partnership signifies a commitment to building bridges, fostering understanding, and ensuring everyone feels welcome as they embark on their East Coast journey. The two organizations want to create a space where everyone can thrive, grow the economy together, and deepen the cultural fabric of the region.

This collaboration and combination of expertise and resources will create a more valuable resource for newcomer settlement, promote a sense of belonging, and create job opportunities.

“We look forward to the positive impact our collaboration will have on the lives of newcomers, immigrants, international students, and the community as a whole,” says Ifeanyi Emesih, founder and CEO of My East Coast Experience. “Follow us for our exciting events, starting with the 2024 Creative HUB Career Expo May 13 at the Westin Hotel.”

“We’re excited about our partnership with My East Coast Experience Media group. Through this collaboration, our goal is to showcase the diverse immigrant experiences and contributions, create community connection and understanding, and share valuable information about available ISANS’ programs and services that support immigrant settlement and growth in Nova Scotia,” says Christine Alvarez, manager of business and workforce integration at ISANS.

ISANS is the leading immigrant settlement service agency in Atlantic Canada, serving 10,000+ clients annually in 104 communities across Nova Scotia, through many kinds of services—language, settlement, community integration, business development, and employment—both in person and online.

My East Coast Experience is a digital media, publishing, marketing, and entertainment brand dedicated to celebrating the contributions of immigrants to their chosen home in Canada. By sharing their stories, from their struggles and cultural adjustments to their victories and achievements, we strive to inspire others. It is the creator of the Most Inspiring Immigrants in Atlantic Canada initiative, the Mosaic International Film Festival, the Creative Hub collaborative working hub, and publishers of My Halifax Experience Magazine.
