We’re thrilled to invite you to the Creative Hub Career Expo Halifax Spring 2025, taking place on April 4th, from 9 AM to 1 PM, at the YMCA of Greater Halifax/Dartmouth, John W. Lindsay, 5640 Sackville Street, Halifax.
At the Creative Hub Career Expo, we’re excited to create an experience where local employers can connect with the incredible talent from our immigrant, newcomer, and international student communities. This isn’t just another job fair — it’s a celebration of the diversity and potential that makes our region thrive. When we think of building connections and strengthening community, we can’t help but think of the YMCA and its mission to support all individuals and families. We’re so happy to be at the YMCA of Greater Halifax/Dartmouth for this meaningful event!
To ensure a smooth and secure check-in, we ask that all attendees and employers bring a valid form of photo identification. Accepted forms of ID include:
- Government-issued IDs (e.g. driver’s license, passport)
- Student IDs (if applicable)
Don’t forget to prepare your one-liner pitch! Craft a concise introduction that highlights your skills, experience, and passion. For example:
- “I’m a recent graduate of [field] with a strong focus on [key skills]. I’m passionate about [interest] and excited to contribute to [specific goal].”
- “I bring [X years] of experience in [industry] with a focus on [key skills], and I’m eager to contribute to [specific goal].”
