This year marks a remarkable milestone for our organization—our 10th anniversary! For the past decade, we have dedicated ourselves to sharing the incredible stories of immigrants who have come to our region and achieved success against all odds. We have also spent these years building our brand and cultivating meaningful relationships with our community.

As we look to the future with optimism, we celebrate the incredible individuals making a positive impact in our community. In January, we proudly honoured 13 outstanding individuals and launched our inaugural Hall of Fame, inducting six community leaders who continue to support and uplift the immigrant community. Their contributions are a testament to resilience, dedication, and the power of community.

We acknowledge that times are changing. With shifts in immigration policies, the discontinuation of some programs, and the introduction of new ones, uncertainty is a reality for many immigrants and international students. We encourage everyone to seek advice from qualified immigration consultants to navigate this evolving landscape. And to our immigrant business owners, we urge you to focus on what you can control and continue supporting local businesses. Together, we can thrive.

In this edition of our print and digital magazine, we look forward with hope and enthusiasm. We will continue to highlight the inspiring stories of immigrants who are making a difference in our community. And we are excited to announce the return of the Mosaic Music Festival this fall—a celebration of culture, unity, and the vibrant spirit of our region.

Here’s to the next 10 years of storytelling, community-building, and celebrating the incredible contributions of immigrants. The journey continues, and we are just getting started!
